ISRAEL UNDER FIRE
We are all in shock and heartbroken by the horrific and unimaginable attacks on our brothers and sisters in Israel. There are simply no words. We are going through some very painful times and there is a feeling of helplessness. Now more than ever, we need to stand strong against hate. We need to come together in Unity. We have all been praying to Hashem, doing Mitzvot and doing what we can to help Am Yisrael. Everyone has their role to fulfill in helping. Let us do what we can to alleviate some of the suffering even in some small measure. Let us show our solidarity with the people of Israel by donating to help the wounded and families who have lost loved ones.
With prayers for peace in the Holy Land and around the world. May we see the fulfillment of the prophecy that a time will come when one nation will not lift a sword against another nation, and they will beat their swords into plowshares -- may it be soon!
CHABAD RABBI SOLIDARITY TRIP
Next week Rabbi Dov will be joining a mission of Chabad Rabbis from across the US to Israel to help in whatever way they can. They will visit soldiers at their army bases, the wounded in the hospitals and families in mourning. Their goal is to inspire, uplift and send a message that we in the diaspora stand with them.
In Israel, Rabbi Dov will distribute funds to families in need and to programs to help soldiers and victims of terror. Chabad has a robust system that reaches to every community in Israel. We want to get as much money as possible to help those in need in this desperate time.
